This role is situated within a premier Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) that accommodates 15 beds, specializing in the care of premature infants starting from 22 weeks gestation. Our NICU is equipped with advanced services including bubble CPAP, conventional and high-frequency ventilators, and nitric oxide therapy, alongside subspecialty support in pediatric surgery, cardiology, ophthalmology, genetics, neurology, and infectious diseases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee high-risk deliveries and manage the care of both preterm and full-term newborns.
  • Provide mentorship and supervision to interns and residents, actively participating in clinical and educational committees.
  • Evaluate residents' clinical performance, leading bedside discussions and delivering formal lectures.
  • Diagnose and manage patients within the Neonatal ICU.
  • Participate in a call schedule of 80 hours over a two-week cycle, including day, night, and weekend shifts.
  • Enjoy a favorable work-life balance with defined clinical hours, administrative duties, and opportunities for quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Neonatology.
