About the Role
This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals. You will be responsible for providing personal care services, recognizing and reporting changes in health and behavior, and maintaining accurate records. Flexibility and adaptability are essential, as you will need to respond to emergencies and prioritize tasks accordingly.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide personal care services, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and managing incontinence
* Recognize and report any changes in health and/or behavior of residents
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident care and interactions
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
* Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance knowledge and skills
Requirements
* High School diploma or equivalent required
* Nursing Assistant Certification (NAC) or Home Care Aide Certification required
* Ability to lift 25 pounds and push/pull mobility equipment
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
