- Clearly explain procedures and care plans to patients.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to prepare the procedure room according to patient and physician requirements.
Work alongside the surgical team to ensure the proper disinfection and sterility of instruments and supplies, adhering to established protocols.
- Assist in the safe positioning of patients based on their needs and the planned procedures, monitoring them throughout.
- Administer medications as directed by the physician.
- Handle and log tissue specimens in accordance with policies.
- Monitor patient conditions and maintain accurate documentation as per guidelines.
- Interpret physician orders accurately, ensuring compliance with policies.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to maintain continuity of care.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
- Valid state license to practice as a registered nurse.
- Current certification in basic cardiac life support and ACLS.
- Minimum of two years of nursing experience.
