We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (PRN) to join our team at Digirad Corporation. As a Cardiac Monitoring Nurse, you will be responsible for providing accurate and timely measurement and interpretation of EKG telephonic recordings in coordination with patient symptoms.
Key Responsibilities- Accurately measure and interpret EKG telephonic recordings in a timely manner
- Use sound judgment to correlate EKG test and symptoms, observing all areas of nursing process and awareness of cardiac patient medications and history
- React appropriately to cardiac emergency situations and comply with clinic protocol and specific physician parameters
- Provide exceptional customer service and satisfaction standards to internal and external customers
- Work knowledge of monitors/transmitters with the ability to troubleshoot with patient/physician staff
- Contribute to a positive work climate and problem-solving within the company
- Demonstrate a high energy and work ethic to achieve overall goals and objectives of the company
- Fill charge nurse duties as required
- Current RN licensure in the state of TN
- Minimum of two years critical care experience
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational abilities
- Beginning level computer, word processing, and typing skills
This position requires some physical exertion, including reaching, bending, standing, walking, and light lifting (no more than 30 lbs). Long periods of sitting may be involved.
