We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Chef to join our kitchen team at Tapp'd, a thriving restaurant specializing in delivering exceptional wings, burgers, steaks, and small appetizers tailored to satisfy the blue-collar crowd.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive consistently delicious, high-quality meals prepared according to Tapp'd standards while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and cook menu items such as wings, burgers, steaks, and appetizers to specification.
- Maintain food quality, presentation, and consistency.
- Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to minimize waste.
- Operate fryers, grills, and other kitchen equipment safely and effectively.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Keep a clean and organized station, adhering to all health and safety standards.
- Assist in food prep, inventory management, and daily kitchen tasks as needed.
- Prior kitchen or line cook experience preferred, but we're willing to train the right candidate.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask efficiently.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards (ServSafe certification is a plus).
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and ready to contribute to a positive workplace culture.
- Flexible schedule with availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
