Underground Utilities/Pipe Foreman

We are currently seeking an Underground Utilities/Pipe Foreman based in Effingham, Illinois.

As an Underground Utilities/Pipe Foreman, you will work closely with Superintendents and fellow team members to ensure accuracy on the job sites and assist in project completion and troubleshooting with underground utilities, such as storm, sanitary sewer and water lines.

This position requires a high degree of accuracy, communication and critical thinking. Key responsibilities include:

• Recording and tracking production quantities and comparing to estimated costs to meet or exceed job specifications.
• Ensuring safety and applying fundamental knowledge of trenching and excavating.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints.

Requirements for this position include:

• Previous underground utilities experience in construction, heavy civil construction, or project management.
• Trimble or TopCon experience in a previous work environment.
• A demonstrated track record with safety while excavating and trenching.
• Team player mentality and the desire to be a part of a successful, hard-working team.
• Superior time management and technical capacity skills.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma, valid driver's license, and the ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
