Senior Level Diesel Technician

Ryder System is seeking a skilled Senior Level Diesel Technician to fill a critical role in our maintenance team in Beltsville, MD. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our fleet of heavy-duty vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance, including oil changes, brake and tire work
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electronic problems
  • Complete detailed mechanical inspections and repairs with minimal supervision
  • Interact with customers/drivers to determine the nature of complaints
  • Perform facility maintenance duties and other support tasks as required
Requirements
  • Three (3) years or more relevant work experience, preferred
  • Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) CLASS A, preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with mechanical repairs and diagnostics on heavy-duty and medium-duty equipment
  • Knowledge of computer skills: PC, Windows, mouse, etc.
  • Ability to obtain CDL within 6 months after hire

  • Hourly pay: $29.00 per hour
