Speech Language Therapist for School Setting

We are seeking a qualified Speech Language Therapist to join our team in a school setting. As a Speech Language Therapist, you will play a critical role in educating patients and their family members about speech disorders, including their causes, whether related to disabilities, traumatic events, or other factors.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining detailed records of student conditions, care plans, therapies, and progress, ensuring accuracy and compliance with healthcare standards.
- Reporting patient progress and current status to appropriate parties, including family members, teachers, or medical professionals, as needed.
- Participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings for students, contributing expertise to support each student's unique needs.
- Consulting with teachers, parents, or medical providers to coordinate care and ensure comprehensive support for patients.
- Providing rehabilitative assistance to help patients achieve their speech and communication goals, tailoring interventions to individual needs.

The ideal candidate will possess:
- Strong understanding of speech-related conditions, causes, and treatments.
- Excellent coaching, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Attentive and caring, with the ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Relevant training and/or certifications as a Speech Pathologist.
- CCC-SLP Certification (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology).
- Active [STATE] Speech Language Pathologist License in good standing.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist or in a similar role.
