Principal Engineer

At Element Solutions, we are seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to develop engineered products and manufacturing processes for high-volume device manufacturing.

This key position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and deliver high-quality products. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for developing solder and Argomax preforms and associated manufacturing processes.

• Develop solder and Argomax preforms and associated manufacturing processes.
• Coordinate with Manufacturing, Engineering, R&D, and Marketing to develop new engineered products.
• Lead efforts in developing innovative technologies and new processes to produce new products/preforms.
• Manage projects to improve or develop processes to make preforms from different alloys, shapes, coatings, and processes.

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in tool engineering, precision stamping, lamination, rolling, slitting, extrusion, reel-to-reel processing, process automation, and high-speed assembly.
• Design experience with various materials of construction.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and/or Fusion 360.
• Excellent communication and writing skills.

• Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year.
