As a Retail Pet Sales Specialist, you will play a crucial role in our operations. Your responsibilities will encompass various tasks that contribute to a positive shopping experience for our customers, both human and animal.
Key Responsibilities
On a typical day, you will:
Engage with Customers
- Proactively interact with our customers, both two-legged and four-legged.
- Provide knowledgeable answers to customer inquiries regarding products.
- Utilize the Pet Food Express Whole Life Approach to offer personalized recommendations that enhance the lives of pets and their owners.
Enhance Your Knowledge
- Participate in ongoing training and educational programs to improve your product knowledge and sales techniques.
- Stay informed about the latest products and trends within the pet community.
Store Operations
- Efficiently operate the cash register while maintaining a friendly demeanor.
- Assist with unloading shipments and stocking shelves, which may involve significant physical activity.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the store by performing tasks such as sweeping and cleaning as necessary.
Qualifications

- A friendly and approachable personality.
- Experience in sales or with pets is advantageous.
- A willingness to learn and engage in daily training sessions.

- Ability to use ladders or step stools as needed.
- Comfortable with standing, walking, bending, and performing repetitive tasks throughout your shift.
