Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a medical traveler to fill a Registered Nurse position in Progressive Care Unit for a 13-week assignment in Louisville, Kentucky.
About the JobWe are offering a competitive pay package based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week, with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined. The salary range for this position is estimated to be between $1500 and $2000 per week, depending on experience and qualifications.
The ideal candidate will have one to three years of experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in a Progressive Care Unit setting. Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills are essential for this role. Physical abilities include remaining in a stationary position, moving about, and pushing/pulling equipment (50-100lbs).
Responsibilities- Communicate and collaborate with physicians and other health team members
- Provide and coordinate patient care with other health team members
- Monitor patients' responses to interventions and report outcomes
- Administer medications as ordered with appropriate documentation
- Monitor and evaluates patients before, during, and post procedure depending on unit
- Shares on-call responsibilities with a 30-minute response time if required
- Maintains cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies
- Transports patients as needed
