ResponsibilitiesThe Anatomic Pathology Frozen Section Laboratory is seeking highly skilled Histology Technicians or Histotechnologists to join our team. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Preparing microscopic slide preparations for diagnostic and prognostic analysis by pathologists
- Performing technical procedures such as accessioning specimens, specimen processing, and microtomy techniques
- Participating in on-call rotations, including weekends as needed
You will work closely with our team of pathologists, scientists, and laboratory professionals to ensure the highest quality of patient care and laboratory services.
QualificationsTo be considered for this role, you must have:
- A degree in a relevant field, such as histotechnology or medical laboratory technology
- Certification as a Histology Technician (HT) or Histotechnologist (HTL) by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP)
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Benefits and CompensationThe minimum rate of pay for Histology Technician is $25.37 per hour, and for Histotechnologist is $31.01 per hour. We also offer a range of benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
