We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Physician-Palliative Care Specialist to join our Inpatient Palliative Care team at Corewell Health Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids, MI.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide consults to hospitalized adult patients and coordinate comprehensive care delivery.
- Assess patients' and families' educational needs and develop teaching strategies to address them.
- Ensure compliance with professional standards, laws, and accreditation requirements.
- Deliver culturally sensitive care that preserves patient autonomy, dignity, and rights.
- Communicate and collaborate with healthcare teams to meet patient needs.
- Michigan MD/DO license.
- Board Eligible/Board Certified in Hospice & Palliative Care or another specialty with strong Palliative Care experience.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
