Job Summary

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing the physical operation of the plant and all electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical equipment. This includes installing, maintaining, repairing, and relocating mechanical aids, as well as servicing and maintaining vehicles. The successful candidate will also manage capital expenditure projects, oversee hazardous waste handling and disposal, and provide supervision to the maintenance/housekeeping/security/tooling staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all tasks associated with the maintenance of buildings and grounds, including renovations, equipment, expansions, and improvements.
  • Receive and review requests for maintenance and prioritize activities based on urgency and availability of resources.
  • Inspect buildings and grounds regularly to identify current and potential maintenance needs.
  • Maintain records and documentation related to repairs made.
  • Oversee the entire life cycle of capital projects from specification to materials purchasing.
  • Manage the work of technical maintenance staff, contractors, or subcontractors.
  • Responsible for fixed asset inventory management and audit.
  • Responsible for keeping the Plant environmentally compliant.
Requirements
  • Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma
  • Experience: 5 years in site Maintenance Management

  • Advanced ability to drive strategic direction
  • Advanced skill in oral communication
  • Advanced skill in decision making
  • Advanced ability to develop and mentor others
  • Considerable ability to effectively plan and delegate the work of others
