Job Summary

We are seeking a visionary leader to assume the role of Division Chief of Emergency Radiology at the Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences at Indiana University School of Medicine.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the clinical, academic, and educational initiatives within the Emergency Radiology Division.
  • Represent and support the Department's overarching mission while acting as the voice for the Division and its members.
  • Enhance the Clinical and Academic missions of the Department, the School, and the Hospitals and patients we serve.
  • Serve as the Division's representative within the Department, the Institution, and on the national/international stage.
  • Coordinate and maintain the clinical schedule.
  • Monitor Division productivity and key metrics.
  • Work in conjunction with the Radiology Service Line Leader to maintain a fiscally responsible staffing model.
  • Coordinate trainee education in the Division.
  • Perform annual Radiologist performance reviews.
  • Coordinate quality assurance activities for the Division.
  • Foster collaborations with the clinical services, the Hospitals, and the referring providers.
About the Department

The Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences at Indiana University School of Medicine is a leading academic department dedicated to delivering exceptional emergency imaging services. The Emergency Radiology Division consists of approximately 27 faculty members committed to delivering exceptional emergency imaging services.

Qualifications
  • An established track record in clinical emergency radiology.
  • Experience in building teams and multi-disciplinary collaborations.
  • Experience with teaching residents and fellows, and mentorship.
  • A defined research interest with prior publications is desired but not required.
  • Candidates will have a Doctorate (MD or DO) and should be board-certified.
