We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Representative to join our team at Inteva Products. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for providing support to all aspects of Human Resources functions, including recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of new employees, collaborating in orientation and training classes, assist with benefit enrollment and administration, unemployment, coaching/counseling employees.
Key Responsibilities- Recruitment and Hiring: Offer support to all aspects of Human Resources functions, including recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of new employees.
- Employee Onboarding: Collaborate in orientation and training classes to ensure a smooth transition for new employees.
- Benefits Administration: Assist with benefit enrollment and administration, including unemployment and coaching/counseling employees.
- HR Operations: Manage and maintain accurate hourly headcount reports, communicate and distribute weekly updates to plant and corporate.
- Associate Files: Maintain associate files, create files for new associates, and ensure that all paperwork pertaining to each associate is placed in the appropriate file on a timely basis.
- FMLA Tracking: Track and document FMLA usage for hourly employees.
- Union Relations: Work with the local union on requests and required reports.
- Employee Movement: Coordinate all employee movement in the plant, including transfers, shift preferences, and job postings.
- Payroll Processing: Process weekly hourly payroll.
- Special Requests: Support and respond to special requests as needed by HR Manager and Plant Staff.
- Education: Bachelor's degree.
- Technical Skills: Strong Microsoft Office skills, including the ability to build complex spreadsheets in Excel and create PowerPoint presentations for customers and executives.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written interpersonal communication skills.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Management or Human Resources.
- Experience: 4+ years of Human Resources experience and 4+ years of experience with ADP, Ceridian, or other HR system experience.
