As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist at Veracity, you will operate under the general oversight of the Supervisor and receive guidance from the Lead Technologist. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Planning, organizing, and executing diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures.
- Ensuring compliance with departmental quality assurance protocols, as well as Federal, State, and JCAHO standards.
Educational Background:
- Completion of a Nuclear Medicine training program.
- National Certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist is required upon hire.
- Certification from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board or National Registered Technologist is necessary upon hire.
- California Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification is required upon hire.
- Current National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association is mandatory upon hire.
- A minimum of one year of experience working with imaging equipment and software from the same manufacturer utilized in our facility.
- Experience performing nuclear medicine procedures across a range of patient ages, from infants to older adults.
- Proficiency in intravenous administration techniques, particularly with pediatric patients.
