Position Overview

As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist at Veracity, you will operate under the general oversight of the Supervisor and receive guidance from the Lead Technologist. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Planning, organizing, and executing diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures.
  • Ensuring compliance with departmental quality assurance protocols, as well as Federal, State, and JCAHO standards.
Essential Qualifications

Educational Background:

  • Completion of a Nuclear Medicine training program.
  • National Certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist is required upon hire.
  • Certification from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board or National Registered Technologist is necessary upon hire.
  • California Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification is required upon hire.
  • Current National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association is mandatory upon hire.
Preferred Qualifications
  • A minimum of one year of experience working with imaging equipment and software from the same manufacturer utilized in our facility.
  • Experience performing nuclear medicine procedures across a range of patient ages, from infants to older adults.
  • Proficiency in intravenous administration techniques, particularly with pediatric patients.
