The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides skilled nursing assessments and direct care to residents in our Long Term Care facility. This role requires a minimum of one year experience in Gerontology, preferably in a Long Term Care facility. The successful candidate will have strong communication and documentation skills, as well as the ability to complete computer documentation.
Key Responsibilities- Provide skilled nursing assessments and direct care to residents
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Oversee and monitor care performed by assigned staff
- Participate in resident care planning and ensure quality of care
- Current LPN licensure in the state of Alaska
- Minimum one year experience in Gerontology, preferably in a Long Term Care facility
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to complete computer documentation
