Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing social work services to students in grades K-8, including individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, and case management. You will work closely with teachers, administrators, and other support staff to create a safe and supportive learning environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide social work services to students, including individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, and case management.
  • Develop and implement social-emotional learning programs and interventions to support student success.
  • Collaborate with teachers and administrators to create a safe and supportive learning environment.
  • Assess and identify student needs, and provide referrals to community resources as needed.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in social work and education.
Requirements
  • Master's (MSW) or Doctoral degree in Social Work.
  • LMSW license eligible in the State of Michigan.
  • School Social Work Approval Form (sw310).
  • Preferred experience in a K-12 setting.
