Microtrenching Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Microtrenching Operator to join our construction team at Sorensen Companies, Inc. This role requires a high level of physical labor, organization, and attention to detail.

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating microtrenching equipment, surveying job sites, loading and unloading equipment, and maintaining a safe working environment.

• Operate microtrenching equipment, including hand and power tools.
• Survey job sites for obstacles and hazards.
• Load and unload equipment, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Backfill and compact trenches to ensure a safe and stable working environment.
• Maintain equipment and perform routine maintenance tasks.
• Work collaboratively with the team to complete tasks and meet project deadlines.

• 5-7 years of experience operating microtrenching equipment.
• Experience digging around utilities is required.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• DOT Medical card required for company vehicle operation.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt.
