Position: Outdoor Adventure Facilitator
Reports to: Operations Manager, Program Coordinator
Job Type: Full-Time; Non-Exempt, Hourly
Southall Farm and Inn is a distinguished venue that harmonizes nature, agriculture, and community in a remarkable and innovative manner. The Outdoor Adventure Facilitator will engage guests by delivering customized outdoor experiences and ensuring their safe transportation across the property. Activities include Aerial Adventure Courses, Guided Nature Walks, Mountain Biking, Archery, Axe Throwing, Fishing, Canoeing, and more. The team at Southall is dedicated to providing a top-tier experience in every interaction with guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Creating a secure and inviting environment for both guests and team members.
- Leading programming and facilitating guest transportation.
- Conducting Southall's programs with a focus on safety, experiential learning, and memorable encounters.
- Overseeing the inspection and upkeep of equipment, facilities, and program locations.
- Performing additional tasks as required.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Prior experience in teaching or leading experiential programs.
- Background in hospitality and customer service.
- A profound respect for nature and a commitment to service excellence.
Education and Requirements:
- CPR/AED & First Aid certification to be obtained within 30 days of employment.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to work on weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Capability to stand and walk for extended periods and work in various weather conditions.
- This role involves spending the majority of the day outdoors and moving throughout the property.
