Job Summary

CrossMed - Cath Lab is seeking a skilled Cardiac Catheterization Nurse to join our team as a travel nurse. As a Cardiac Catheterization Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab, including preparing patients for procedures, administering medications, and monitoring patients during and after procedures.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop plans to address these needs.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Kentucky.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in Cardiac Catheterization or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
