**About the Role:**

We are seeking a part-time Adjunct Faculty member to teach college-level courses in Geography at Virginia Western Community College.

The successful candidate will have a Master's degree in Geography or a related field, with 18 graduate semester hours in Geography courses. They will also possess excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, as well as experience using technology in the classroom.

This is a part-time position, appointed on a course-by-course, semester basis as needed.

  • Teach college-level courses in Geography on our main campus.
  • Maintain currency in their teaching disciplines and trends in community college education.

**Requirements:

  • Masters degree in Geography or a related field with 18 graduate semester hours in Geography courses.
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Experience using technology in the classroom.

**Salary:** $40-$60 per credit hour, depending on qualifications. Total annual salary estimated around $27,600 to $41,400 for a part-time load of 12 credits per semester.
