Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join their team for a travel assignment in a Rehabilitation Hospital setting.

Job Summary:

  • Provide high-quality occupational therapy services to patients in a Rehabilitation Hospital setting.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and goals.
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans to improve patient function and independence.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer occupational therapy interventions to patients, including exercises, activities, and adaptive equipment training.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Document patient progress and treatment plans in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of practice.
  • Minimum of one year of experience as an Occupational Therapist in a Rehabilitation Hospital setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
