Comprehensive testing of all applications using updated technologies is essential prior to the retirement of legacy systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the application testing processes for the project, ensuring effective migration of legacy applications to modern Microsoft Server platforms.
  • Engage in an initial onsite engagement, collaborating closely with team members to establish a strong foundation for the project.
  • Following the introductory phase, maintain a regular onsite presence, with flexibility for additional days as project demands arise.
  • Participate in both functional and technical discussions to formulate detailed test plans and cases based on project requirements.
  • Design, execute, and manage testing methodologies for various applications and technologies involved in the modernization effort.
  • Work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders to guarantee thorough testing of all applications on new technologies before phasing out legacy systems.
  • Demonstrate effective leadership and clear communication throughout the testing lifecycle of the project.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Experience: A minimum of 8 years in a Senior Application Testing role, with expertise in both manual and automated testing on projects of comparable scale.
  • Agile Methodology: Significant experience operating within Agile frameworks.
  • Technical Proficiency:
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Technologies, including Microsoft Server 2008 and newer, IIS, SQL Server, ASP, and ASP.Net.
  • Capability to develop high-quality test plans and cases derived from functional and technical specifications.
  • Prior experience with BDD scenario testing utilizing SpecFlow (or Cucumber) and Selenium for UI Testing in the specified technical environments is highly desirable but not mandatory.
  • Leadership and Communication Skills: Proven track record of engaging in functional and technical discussions, managing multiple priorities, and effectively communicating with diverse stakeholders.

Desirable Skills:

  • Industry Knowledge: Experience with Health and Human Services Agencies is advantageous.
  • Additional Technical Expertise: Understanding of both legacy and modern Microsoft Server environments, including virtualization techniques.
