Warehouse Stocker

Job Summary:

Restaurant Depot is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Warehouse Stocker - Smallwares Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, stocking product on shelves, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide prompt and courteous customer service to internal and external customers.
• Stock product on shelves, including removing boxes from pallets and opening boxes to re-stock shelves.
• Organize and front-face items on shelves to ensure a visually appealing store environment.
• Perform regular inspections to meet HACCP regulations and ensure a safe working environment.
• Assist in reviewing inventory for product rotation daily to prevent shrinkage and damages.
• Verify shelf pricing is accurate and reflects the most recent pricing.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following a regular maintenance schedule of scrubbing and pulling out pallets and cleaning underneath.
• Identify and report any safety hazards on the department floor and promptly and safely handle any spills and remove any trash.
• Work with Hi-Lo operators to ensure the selling floor remains stocked and safe by promptly returning overstock pallets to the overhead reserves.
• Promptly inform supervisors of any low stock or out-of-stock merchandise.

Physical Demands:

• Walking/standing on concrete for up to 10 hours/day.
• Frequent turning, standing, reaching, stooping, and/or bending.
• Frequent pushing/pulling objects 500 to 1,500 lbs.
• Frequent lifting/carrying objects more than 60 lbs.

Work Environment:

• Frequent exposure to cold/freezing temperatures.
• Equipment in motion (forklifts, electric pallet jacks, scooters).
