Job Summary

Vanderbilt University Medical Center is seeking a skilled Pediatric Hand Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our Occupational Therapy department, you will provide hand therapy and occupational therapy services to patients with impairments, developmental disabilities, functional limitations, disabilities, or changes in physical function and health status resulting from injury, disease, or other causes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze comprehensive information from formal and informal assessment to determine a rehabilitation treatment diagnosis.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders in establishing the plan of care, coordinates and implements care delivery while anticipating patient care needs across the rehabilitation continuum.
  • Apply appropriate, evidence-based interventions to ensure effective outcomes and re-evaluate performance to assess patient's progress towards goals.
  • Employ strategies to promote successful return to home, community, and school/vocational environments.
Requirements
  • Certifications: LIC-Occupational Therapy License
  • Work Experience: 1 year of relevant work experience
  • Education: Bachelor's degree
