Packer and Machine Operator

Adecco is hiring for several roles in the manufacturing industry. We are seeking skilled Packers and Machine Operators to join our team on 1st and 2nd shift. These are long-term, Temp-to-Hire roles.

Packer Role:

1st Shift: Monday - Thursday, 6am-4pm, $15.50/hr.

2nd Shift Monday - Thursday 4pm-2am, $16.50ph

Machine Operator:

1st shift 6am-4pm, Mon-Thursday, $17/hr.

Packer Responsibilities:

• Measure, weigh, and count products and materials.
• Record product, packaging, and order information on specified forms and records.
• Load materials and products into package processing equipment.
• Assemble, line, and pad cartons, crates, and containers, using hand tools.
• Clean containers, materials, supplies, or work areas, using cleaning solutions and hand tools.

Machine Operator Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, or tend more than one type of cutting or forming machine tool or robot.
• Inspect workpieces for defects, and measure workpieces to determine accuracy of machine operation, using rules, templates, or other measuring instruments.
• Observe machine operation to detect workpiece defects or machine malfunctions, adjusting machines as necessary.
• Read blueprints or job orders to determine product specifications and tooling instructions and to plan operational sequences.
• Set up and operate machines, such as lathes, cutters, shears, borers, millers, grinders, presses, drills, and auxiliary machines, to make metallic and plastic workpieces.

Requirements:

• 1-2 years related experience required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

Pay Details: $15.50 to $17.00 per hour
