Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Cath Lab Invasive Specialist Lead to join our team at Methodist Hospital Stone Oak. As a key member of our Cath Lab team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform invasive cardiovascular procedures with precision and accuracy, ensuring the highest level of patient care.
  • Maintain good communication with the Cath Lab team to ensure proper equipment setup, accurate monitoring, and quality data collection.
  • Identify cardiac structures, coronary vasculature, and associated disease processes, providing critical information for diagnosis and treatment.
  • Assist physicians in obtaining or entering data into the Physiologic Monitoring System(s) for accurate assessment of left and/or right-sided Hemodynamic pressure measurements.
  • Ensure that Angiographic and procedural data is properly archived for long-term storage.
Requirements
  • High School graduate or GED
  • One (1) year fulltime Invasive Cardiovascular Technology experience
  • An Associate Degree or equivalent college hours (62 semester hours) in health, science, natural science, nursing, engineering or any primary science or higher
  • Graduate of an accredited (by CHEA, USDOE, or CMA) program in Invasive Cardiovascular Technology
  • Minimum License, Certificates, or Registrations Required: RCIS (Registered Cardiac Invasive Specialist) from CCI (Cardiovascular Credentialing International) or RCES (Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist)
