Job Summary

We are seeking a Livestock Specialist to join our team at Holden Farms, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily care and maintenance of pigs at our designated work site in Dexter, MN.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily pig care and health checks
  • Sorting and monthly maintenance tasks such as cleaning dryer vents, greasing anchor bearings, and baiting
  • Ordering feed and supplies
  • Maintaining accurate records and adhering to our Biosecurity Program

Requirements:

  • Strong interest in animal husbandry with a desire to learn and self-develop
  • Self-motivated team player with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs and frequently bend, reach, squat, and kneel

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience.
