This role involves welcoming and assisting all incoming general aviation aircraft, managing the departure of all outgoing general aviation aircraft, and delivering essential services to both passengers and crew members.

  • Adhere to company policies and procedures that govern customer service standards, ramp operations, safety, and security protocols.
  • Guide incoming and outgoing general aviation aircraft in alignment with company standards.
  • Verify the identities of crew members, passengers, visitors, and vendors in accordance with the company's security guidelines.
  • Engage with customers through various communication channels including telephone, fax, face-to-face interactions, email, and radio communications.
  • Ensure all departing aircraft are equipped with requested amenities such as catering, beverages, and reading materials.
  • Address customer inquiries, requests, and concerns regarding the company's services or products.
  • Provide transportation for customers to and from the airport terminal and nearby accommodations as necessary.
  • Escort crew and passengers to and from the aircraft.
  • Assist customers with the loading and unloading of luggage as required.
  • Support with fuel orders, catering, and ground transportation as needed.
  • Offer guidance to crew or passengers regarding local dining and lodging options.
  • Assist crew members with aircraft cleaning, waste removal, and carpet maintenance.
  • Deliver Signature Gold Cap Service upon customer request.
  • Express gratitude to customers through verbal or written communication for choosing Signature Flight Support.
  • Maintain and replenish amenities in customer areas, ensuring that the lobby and restrooms are clean and tidy.
  • Support Line Service Technicians and Customer Service Representatives as required.

Key Responsibilities

The following tasks are essential to the role, in addition to those outlined above. Duties may be performed in varying weather conditions, including precipitation, extreme temperatures, and exposure to noise and jet engine fumes. Tasks will be carried out both indoors and outdoors near stationary and moving aircraft.

  • Regularly stand, walk, use hands for handling and communication, and reach with arms; must be able to talk and hear effectively.
  • Occasionally lift and/or move items weighing up to 40 pounds.
  • Communicate clearly in English with others in person, via telephone, and in writing for job duties and safety purposes.
  • Engage effectively with peers and both internal and external customers.
  • Read and interpret safety rules and procedural documents.
  • Apply basic math concepts to calculate figures such as discounts and percentages.
  • Compose routine reports and correspondence.
  • Operate vehicles in congested areas with moving and stationary aircraft and equipment, requiring the ability to identify colors and judge distances.
  • Resolve practical problems and navigate various situations with limited standardization.
  • Manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Wear the designated uniform and insignia as required by the company.
  • Report to work consistently and punctually.
Qualifications

To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Minimum age of 18 years.
  • Ability to pass background checks, drug tests, and maintain airport security badge eligibility.
  • Legal authorization to work in the country of employment.
  • Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Possession of a valid state driver's license.
  • Previous experience in customer service is preferred.
