Job Summary

At Alabama Regional Medical Services, we are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will provide general medical care and treatment to patients under the supervision of a physician. Your expertise will be invaluable in ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Performs physical examinations and preventive health measures within prescribed guidelines and instructions of Physician.
• Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to identify and assess patient's clinical problems and health care needs.
• Conducts various laboratory tests and records physical findings to formulate a plan and prognosis based on patient's condition.
• Prepares a comprehensive patient care plan and submits it for periodic review and evaluation by Physician.
• Recommends drugs and other forms of treatment, such as physical therapy, inhalation therapy, or related therapeutic procedures.
• Counsels and advises patients in areas such as substance abuse, recognition and prevention of communicable illnesses, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

Requirements

• Master's Degree or higher from an accredited program of Nursing.
• American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and/or American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) Certification/License.
• Bilingual ability to speak and write in Spanish and English preferred.

Work Environment

• Clinic setting with outpatient services.
• 8 hour shift, Monday to Friday.

Education and Experience

• Clinical Nurse Practitioner experience in Primary Care, Private Practice, and/or Clinical experience mandatory.
• AANP and/or ANCC Certification/License required.
