About the Job
Sierra Medical Center is seeking a dynamic Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our team. This per diem opportunity offers a convenient day shift schedule and provides direct patient care to infant through geriatric patient populations in the OR arena.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, addressing psychosocial, physical, and general aspects of care related to the surgical and Pain Center environment.
- Communicate continuously with surgeon and anesthesiologist about patient condition.
- Assist with maintenance of surgical equipment and pain management inventory.
- Participate in performance improvement activities.
- Assess operating room/procedure room for equipment functioning and readiness, obtain supplies for individual cases, and ensure all appropriate needs of surgical operating team are met.
Job Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Nevada.
- At least one year Operating Room experience.
- Current BLS certification.
- Current ACLS certification.
Benefits
