About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled School Psychologist to join our team at Soliant. As a key member of our educational services team, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with special needs and helping them achieve their full potential.

Job Overview

This is a full-time position, requiring a minimum of 1+ years of experience as a school psychologist. The ideal candidate will have a Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology and be licensed or certified as a School Psychologist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive abilities, academic skills, social-emotional functioning, and developmental levels.
  • Interpret assessment results and provide insights to inform instructional planning, intervention strategies, and individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other educational professionals to develop and implement effective interventions and behavior management strategies.
  • Provide counseling and support services to students individually or in group settings, addressing a wide range of social, emotional, and behavioral concerns.
  • Consult with parents, guardians, and external stakeholders to foster effective partnerships and support students' overall well-being and academic success.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, including 504 meetings and Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, and contribute expertise in addressing students' needs and goal-setting.
Qualifications
  • Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology.
  • Valid license or certification as a School Psychologist.
  • Proficient in conducting psychoeducational assessments and interpreting assessment results.
  • Solid knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and procedures.
  • Strong understanding of various behavioral intervention strategies and positive behavior support systems.
  • Mitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical guidelines.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
