Job Summary

This part-time Nursing position will work on our Night shift at Providence Portland Medical Center. As a Registered Nurse (RN) in our Maternal Child Float Pool, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care to patients on labor and delivery, postpartum, and nursery units.

Responsibilities

  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized plans of care.
  • Provide hands-on nursing care to patients, including medication administration, wound care, and vital sign monitoring.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless transitions of care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information.
  • Foster a positive and supportive environment for patients, families, and colleagues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
  • Oregon RN license upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification.
  • 1 year of nursing experience preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Labor and delivery or NICU experience preferred.
