Psychiatric Technician

Adventist HealthCare seeks an experienced Psychiatric Technician to work at AHC Manor House on a per diem rotating shift basis. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering high-quality care and have a strong commitment to our mission.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care and support to patients with mental health needs.
- Collaborate with the treatment team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Monitor patient progress and make adjustments to care plans as needed.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a related field.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Preferred qualifications include AA or BA in sociology or psychology, Psychiatric Technician certification, and Crisis Prevention Institute Certification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
