Job Summary

The Director of Corporate Worship and Music Ministry is a part-time position responsible for providing leadership to our music worship ministry at Boulevard Park Church. The ideal candidate is a passionate and skilled musician who can inspire and motivate others in their relationship with God.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide musical direction and leadership to our worship teams, ensuring high-quality performances that glorify God.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive music ministry strategy that aligns with the church's vision and values.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor musicians and singers to develop their skills and talents.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of seasonal worship services, including Christmas and Easter.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Pastor to maintain the order of worship for weekend services and special events.
  • Develop and manage the audio-visual and technical aspects of worship services.
  • Recruit and develop a team of audio-visual and technical volunteers to support worship services.

Requirements:

  • Mature and growing relationship with Jesus Christ, demonstrating a deep understanding of biblical theology and reformed soteriology.
  • Strong musical knowledge and skills, including the ability to read music and play a lead instrument.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
  • Experience with ProPresenter and Planning Center is a plus.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the Senior Pastor and other church leaders to achieve the church's vision and goals.
