Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Officer II PRN to join our team at Sovah Health - Danville. As a Security Officer II PRN, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our patients, staff, and visitors.

Responsibilities:

* Provide proactive monitoring of and timely responses to potential/actual security threats
* Investigate and manage all security incidents and hazards on the premises
* Maintain knowledge of and follow policies and procedures regarding alarms and emergency/disaster preparedness plans
* Assist in facilitating planned drills and simulations
* Conduct designated safety/security rounds
* Provide information and assistance to staff and visitors to promote their safety on the premises

Requirements:

* High school diploma or equivalent required
* Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision
* Flexibility in scheduling and ability to work all shift patterns, including weekends and holidays
* Valid driver's license with good driving record
* Healthcare Provider (BLS) American Heart Association certification within 60 days of hire
* Handle with Care Training within 30 days of hire
* Successful completion of handcuff training within 60 days of hire
