The Won't Stop Hospitality Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, the successful candidate will be responsible for upholding the highest standards of quality and excellence in all aspects of our operations.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Supervision: The Executive Chef will serve as a model and assure staff adherence to all policies set forth by Won't Stop Hospitality Inc. and will coordinate and oversee the day-to-day workflow of subordinate staff.
- Culinary Vision: The Executive Chef will execute the culinary vision as defined by the Executive Culinary Team and will lead and develop staff utilizing established systems for reporting and follow-up.
- Food Safety and Quality: The Executive Chef will maintain the safety, sanitation, and sacredness of our kitchen, food prep, and food storage areas and will ensure compliance with health, safety, food handling, and hygiene standards.
- Inventory and Resource Management: The Executive Chef will assist the General Manager with inventory ensuring ethical use of company resources and will maintain store compliance with all ServSafe certification and liquor license permitting.
- Staff Development and Training: The Executive Chef will coach and train staff to continuously elevate the market perception of Won't Stop Hospitality Inc. as Radically Different and Radically Better.
- Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent and at least two years related experience required, management experience preferred.
- Skills and Abilities: Strong supervisory and leadership skills, excellent interpersonal skills, excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them to staff when appropriate.
- Certifications and Licenses: Ability to secure ServSafe Certification required.
- Standing and Lifting: Prolonged periods of standing and being on your feet, must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
