About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at The Arora Group. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality medical imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform conventional radiology imaging procedures, including chest radiography and other imaging modalities, to diagnose and treat medical conditions.
  • Provide direct care to patients, including taking vital signs and conducting CLIA-waived tests such as rapid strep and rapid influenza.
  • Set up X-ray rooms and adapt positions to meet the needs of patients.
  • Evaluate x-ray images to ensure they are artifact-free and correctly developed.
  • Ensure patient and radiology personnel safety by minimizing radiation exposure.
  • Log and document x-ray images, file reports, and maintain quality control systems.
  • Collaborate with radiologists to establish requirements for non-standard examinations and determine technical factors.
  • Provide patient education on intake screening processes, care access, and grievance procedures.
  • Scanning and verifying medical records documents.
  • Attend and participate in general/medical staff meetings.
Requirements
  • Graduate from a certificate or associate degree Radiologic Technologist program accredited by The Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT).
  • One-year experience as a certified (license if required) Radiologic Technologist.
  • Experience in a detention/correctional or residential healthcare setting (preferred, not required).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Basic Life Support for healthcare providers through the American Heart Association, CPR for the professional rescuer through the American Red Cross, or the American Safety and Health Institute.
