Job Summary:
Deliver direct nursing care in alignment with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and monitor patient care plans, recording and communicating patient conditions as necessary.
- Act as the primary coordinator for all disciplines involved in providing well-coordinated patient care.
- Execute physician and nursing orders accurately.
- Assess and coordinate discharge planning needs with the healthcare team.
- Utilize evidence-based practices and scientific knowledge to ensure age-specific and clinical needs are met.
- Uphold professional nursing standards as defined in the practice model, guided by the ANA Code of Ethics.
- Maintain a constant state of alertness and safety.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Education Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school or equivalent education for licensing.
Experience:
- No prior experience required.
Physical Requirements:
- Frequent use of speech for communication.
- Constant standing and walking.
- Frequent lifting and carrying of objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
- Frequent sitting, reaching, and data entry.
- Frequent visual and auditory tasks for patient care.
- Occasional lifting of heavier objects and patients.
Licensure and Certifications:

- Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA)
