In this role, you will be responsible for both preventative and reactive maintenance on printing and finishing equipment, auxiliary machinery, and general facility upkeep. Work Schedule:
- Evening Shift - 4:00 PM to 4:00 AM
- 12-hour shifts, working 3 days followed by 4 days off (NOT A SWING SHIFT)
- Potential for overtime as required
Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be tasked with maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing production and facility equipment as necessary during both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance. This position calls for a proactive individual who prioritizes safety and thrives in a team-oriented atmosphere. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively are essential. Proficient troubleshooting and analytical skills are required, along with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Additional responsibilities include:
- Conducting regular preventive maintenance on printing and finishing machinery, auxiliary equipment, and general facility maintenance.
- Addressing unscheduled maintenance requests for production equipment, focusing on minimizing downtime through effective problem diagnosis, parts replacement, repairs, testing, and adjustments.
- Utilizing electrical testing instruments such as multimeters, amp meters, oscilloscopes, and thermal imagers for troubleshooting and repairs.
- Dismantling machines and equipment to replace defective components.
- Creating and completing work orders through the CMMS program.
- Interpreting electrical schematics, including symbol identification and PLC card I/O controls.
Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of eight (8) years of electro-mechanical experience, or four (4) years of experience with an associate degree in electro-mechanical technology or a related field.
- Ability to manage and complete equipment-related projects within designated timelines.
- Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience in a manufacturing or production setting.
- Ability to support leadership in their absence.
- Familiarity with AC and DC circuits, including low voltage through 480V three-phase power.
- Proficient in office software and computer navigation.
