Responsibilities

Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Providing full scope primary care services to adult and senior patients
  • Examining, diagnosing, and treating patients for acute injuries, infections, and illnesses
  • Counseling and educating patients and families about acute and chronic conditions or concerns
  • Formulating diagnostic and treatment plans
  • Prescribing and administering medications, therapies, and procedures
  • Ordering lab and imaging tests to determine and manage an immediate treatment plan
  • Coordinating care with specialists and ancillary services
