Job Summary

Lone Star College is seeking a qualified Faculty member to teach Government courses at our University Park campus. As a member of our faculty, you will be responsible for creating a dynamic and engaging learning environment that fosters student success and academic excellence.

The ideal candidate will possess a Master's degree in Political Science or Government, or a related field, with a strong background in teaching and curriculum development. Experience in instructional design, assessment, and evaluation is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Teaching Government courses at the University Park campus
  • Developing and implementing curriculum that aligns with Lone Star College's academic standards
  • Evaluating student learning and providing feedback to students
  • Participating in departmental meetings and contributing to the development of departmental goals and objectives
  • Maintaining accurate records of student progress and grades
Requirements

To be considered for this position, applicants must possess:

  • A Master's degree in Political Science or Government, or a related field
  • Experience in teaching and curriculum development
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
