Job Title: Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Tact Staff is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in Glens Falls, New York. As a Labor and Delivery Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Unit Details:
  • 20-bed unit with a Level 1 designation
  • Average deliveries per month

The Joyce Stock Snuggery at Glens Falls Hospital is a leading family-focused birthing center with 2 OB practices and midwives and obstetricians covering Labor & Delivery 24/7.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for baby in OR, and mother in PACU with a second nurse
  • A shared leadership model encourages nursing engagement and decision making at the bedside

Must be able to care for laboring mothers and have Mother/Baby experience. Epic Experience is required, with 2+ years current L&D/LDRP experience and 2+ years Post Partum experience. Ability to read & interpret EFM is also required.

Requirements:
  • Current NY License
  • ACLS, BLS, and PERM ADDRESS
  • Permanent address must be included in profile

Travelers from the following counties in New York will not be considered for travel assignments at Glens Falls: Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, and Washington.

Pay Package:

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
