We are seeking a skilled Slitter Operator to join our team at Combined Metals of Chicago. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery, processing metal strips, and ensuring high-quality products.

• Operate slitters, forklifts, and overhead cranes to process metal strips
• Inspect material for quality and accuracy
• Set up and adjust slitter knives and stripper rings
• Prepare metal coils for shipment
• Collaborate with manufacturing and quality teams to resolve product or equipment issues
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
