About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Tax Associate to join our team at H&R Block. As a Tax Associate, you will be responsible for conducting tax interviews with clients, preparing accurate tax returns, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools
  • Prepare complete and accurate tax returns
  • Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services
  • Provide clients with IRS support
  • Support office priorities through teamwork and collaboration
  • Grow your tax expertise
Requirements
  • Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfort working with virtual tools video, phone and chat
  • Ability to effectively communicate in person, via phone and in writing
  • Must meet all other IRS and applicable state requirements
  • High school diploma / equivalent or higher
