The Catholic University of America is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Custodial Services Associate to join our Facilities team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and clean environment for our students, faculty, and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Perform a variety of custodial services, including cleaning, stocking supplies, and waste removal in residences, academic facilities, and administrative areas.
- Wash, disinfect, sweep, dust, vacuum, scrub, mop, wax, buff, and restore flooring surfaces, walls, partitions, fixtures, and furnishings.
- Remove waste, surplus materials, and litter to disposal areas.
- Supply special event set-ups and room condition preparations.
- Provide conference services support, including restroom servicing for residential guests.
- Perform snow/ice removal and weather-related services as directed.
- At least one year of cleaning experience at a university or in a small to mid-sized commercial environment.
- Ability to read and comprehend basic instructions and correspondence in English.
- Strong service orientation towards individuals and groups, especially students.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and on a set schedule.
This position requires the ability to work the third shift, Thursday to Monday, from 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm.
The projected salary or hourly pay range for this position is $18.04 hourly.
