Job Title: Principal Cloud Engineer - Distributed Systems

About the Role:
We are seeking a seasoned Principal Cloud Engineer - Distributed Systems to join our team at Oracle. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and optimizing distributed systems, with expertise in cloud computing and enterprise software.

Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable and efficient distributed systems architectures
- Analyze and troubleshoot complex issues in cloud and distributed environments
- Collaborate with teams to achieve results and provide technical consulting and knowledge sharing
- Develop and run benchmarks using load generator tools and optimize designs, architecture, and workflows to meet KPIs

Requirements:
- 12+ years of software engineering experience with a solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, and software design
- Strong analytical and debugging skills with deep knowledge of analytics and data warehouses and web applications
- Experience with enterprise application stacks (Java/J2EE, C++, Shell script/Pearl/Python) and microservices (Docker/Kubernetes) architecture

Compensation:
The estimated salary for this role is $94,200 to $223,500 per annum, plus bonus and equity opportunities.
