- Implement strategies to reduce patient risk and promote a culture of safety, adhering to regulatory standards and evidence-based practices.
- Provide ongoing evaluation of patient outcomes and participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance departmental processes and patient satisfaction.
- Assume a leadership role in the care team, delegating tasks effectively and promoting a positive, professional work environment.
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which you practice, and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in Nursing, with a minimum of 1 year of experience in OR Nursing, including scrub experience.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Proficient computer skills, including electronic medical records systems, and the ability to adapt to changing assignments and float within the contracted site.
